Namaste and WelcomeI offer yoga to children and adults,
and children and young adults with special needs in the Aylesbury area ‘
“Detox massage" - place your right hand on the lower right-hand side of your rib-cage. This is where your liver sits. It is the primary detoxifying organ of your body and twisting to the right massages it. The beginning of a new year is a good time to refresh your body with twists, first to the right and then to the left. Include a few more standing, sitting and lying twists in your practice. I have practiced yoga for over 10 years and have been teaching for 5 years in the Aylesbury and Thame areas. I gained my teaching qualification with The Life Centre, based in London, and am a teaching member of The British Wheel of Yoga. I have more specialist qualifications which, I am honoured to say, I achieved with Jo Manuel, at The Special Yoga Centre, and Sonia Sumar, who developed the Yoga for The Special Child therapy programme, for teaching yoga to children and sharing yoga with children and young people with special needs. Their inspiration continues to guide me.
I also offer one-to-one sessions, either on an on-going basis, or as taster sessions if you wish to find out more about yoga before joining a class.
The yoga I teach is inspired by the integral yoga and vinyasa yoga styles.
RECYCLE YOUR YOGA MAT - send me your unwanted yoga mats for a new lease of life and keep them out of landfill sites. It would be helpful to also have a supply of mats that I can donate to the special schools I work in for use with their children or young people starting to practice yogaPlease email me for further information.
